Grump and I are sending a big "SHOUT
OUT THANK YOU" to everyone who participated and supported our
event.
Special thanks go to son Mike &
grandson James for the breakfast burrito, to Frog Dog and Corker
for taking care of the coffee, to wer2ys4u for the little whispers
that helped out this very nervous person, to daughter-in-law Autumn
(pinkiandthebrain) for the delicious cupcakes & cake pops, and
last but certainly not least the biggest thank you goes to all of
the wonderful cachers who attended our event. Without all of you it
wouldn"t have been the success that it was. The people, weather and
phone calls made up for a fun filled nerve racking day.

The plans for the event are coming along. so far 15 teams have
signed up. I know it is pretty early to formulate your plans, but
since we are preparing breakfast, we would like to have a little
better idea of how many to cook for. (Our oldest son and his son
have graciously offered to do the cooking for me. Yea!!!!
9:00am - Meet at Enchanted Hills Park. We will be cooking
breakfast burritos for those who want them. We will also have on
hand fresh coffee, granola snacks, some fruit and of course water.
There are only a few benches and tables available on site so if
anyone wants to bring extra lawn chairs please do so. This is a
great time for meeting and greeting.
10:00am - Rules for the caching game play will be explained and
handed out to each team. At this time you are free to search for
caches or to just hang out.
3:00pm - Meet back at Enchanted Park to hand in game sheets to
be tallied. (Please make sure that you register and hand in your
game sheets no later than 3:15pm so that we have time to tabulate
them.) Prizes will then be awarded.
Drinks and some goodies/snacks with be available at this
time.
4:30pm - Hopefully by then everything has been tabulated, prizes
handed out and everyone is free to do whatever they want.
I am still trying to get something going for the kids who are
coming. If not they will have the playground at the park to
possibly keep them busy.

As the title implies, we are having a late Leprechaun Pot Luck Event. (A little after the
fact but it was "pot luck" on
whether or not Grump would be attending.) Now it is "pot luck" on how the event is going to run,
"pot luck" on who wants to
attend and "pot luck" if there
will be a"pot luck".
Grump and I are in the process of formulating plans. Almost all
of the particulars are in place. As of now we are planning on
breakfast at the park at 9:00am, weather permiting, so bring your
appetites. We will have a supply of drinks both at breakfast and in
the afternoon. Of course you are welcome to bring your own. This is
a chance for everyone to catch up with old caching friends or to
meet new ones. Once breakfast is over we will be setting the game
rules and then everyone is at liberty to head out for a day of
caching or just hang out. The games will be ending at 3:00pm at
which time everyone is to be back at the park. Prizes will be
awarded and hopefully there will be some new stories to be told. We
are also hoping to have something set up for any kids who are
planning on coming.
