Mel's Fork Rides Again Traditional Cache

Situated off the Backbone Trail (Rogers Fire Road) in the Santa Monica Mountains (elevation 1890').
This cache was originally meant to be "In the Fork of the Pole." I just pick up the pieces... and Mel's hearing aids. Mel tells his harrowing tale here: Post Bee Attack (GC2GEEH). Near a fork in the trail, of course. There are NO bees here. The original cache for Mel's Fork has meandered off (6/1/2019). Cache replacement is now a pickle jar, within an arm's reach from this well-worn path. Rehide it properly. Bring a pen, no stickers please.
