Stone Ewe Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Inylchek: Although this geocache has been reported as being in good condition, we have not been able to check it out recently. We are also aware that since the geocache was sited, a new house has been built nearby. It is better that this geocache is archived until we have had chance to go by and check out the situation. This may be some time.

Geocache Description:

A walk along a minor road and then a more challenging (but short) section across a bog. Reward - a beautiful view across Loch Ewe to the Mountains and a sense of history.

Park in walkers' car park on the left hand side of road ( NG - 821855). From there walk along small road (inland) until you can take first left onto a rough track/road (recently 'modernised'), which goes over a small bridge. This then leads straight up the hill towards the base of Creag Choic. At bend in the track divert across bog on right. After rain it would be advisable to wear wellies.

The cache is the first deposited by Redd 28 and Inylchek to mark New Year 2011. Starting treasures include ruler, highlighter, lavendar wooden ball and a model sheep. Log book and pencil also included.
