Geocache Description:

HELLO BAROSSA

This cache is set up to welcome you to the Barossa Valley the land of Red Wine and Head Aches.
If you pear East from this location you can observe the vastness of the valley between the hill range on the West to the hill range on the East.
To the east you can see the Penrice Soda Products Quarry that quarries lime stone that you may see being railed to port Adelaide
Geologists at Penrice Soda Products claim the lime stone deposit was once the width of the valley Floor and with evolution it twisted vertical, so with the valley floor being 12+ km wide. So the deposit they are working on is 12km high, I feel this is idle waffle perhaps it’s the result of to much red wine and the hot sunshine.
The cache has been placed to suit the geocachers traveling from Adelaide to the river land with Hello Barossa first and Goodbye Barossa as you leave the valley.
If your traveling from the river land toward Adelaide you will find I have stuffed up for you and you will have to do the last first and the first last and cross the road each time.
The cache is an Eclipse mint tin with log paper and a magnet for obvious reasons please supply your own writing instrument.
Enjoy
