Stensjökyrkan är en församlingskyrka och stod färdig 1974. Kyrkan är ritad av arkitekten Kjell Malmqvist. Kyrkan är byggd utav tegel. En ombyggnad och tillbyggnad av kyrkan gjordes 1985 till 1986. Då tillkom kyrktorg, sakristia, församlingslokal och pastorsexpedition.

Kyrkklocka, som är synlig inifrån kyrkan, gjordes av Hans Ternanat år 1674 av malm från den gamla kyrkklockan från 1100-talet. Den gamla klockan hade ringts sönder år 1588. Den gamla klockan kom från Fässberga gamla kyrka. Den gamla klockan hängdes upp 1887 i Fässberga nya kyrka, men den harmoniserade inte rätt med de andra klockorna, utan fick istället införas i den nya Stensjökyrkan.

Kyrkans dopfunt är gjord av granit och sitter fast i kyrkans södra vägg. Kyrkans orgel har 19 stämmor och byggdes 1979 av Lindegrens Orgelbyggeri AB. Inuti kyrkan finns även en terrakottaskulptur gjord av Hertha Hillfon föreställande en ängel.

Stensjökyrkan is a parish church and was finished 1974. The church is designed by the architect Kjell Malmqvist. The church is constructed of bricks. A reconstruction and addition of the church was made in 1985 to 1986. Then a church square, chancel, parish hall and reverend expedition was added.

The church bell, which is visible from inside the church, was made by Hans Ternanat in the year of 1674 in bronze from the old church bell from the 12:th century. The old church bell has been broken due to ringing in 1588. The old church bell came from Fässberga gamla kyrka. The old church bell was added in 1887 to Fässberga nya kyrka, but did not hamonize with the other church bells, and was instead added to the new church Stensjökyrkan.

The christening font is made in granite and is attached to the southern wall of the church. The church organ has 19 stops and was built in 1979 by Lindegrens Orgelbyggeri AB. Inside the church is also a terracotta sculpture made by Hertha Hillfon depicting an angel.
