Geocache Description:

The Wilf Series is a series of four caches placed in the memory of my father Wilf Lobb who passed away on Christmas day 2010 aged 96. They are in an area known as Fence Wood near Hermitage Berks The wood is part of the Ealing estate but has unrestricted public access. There are a couple of ancient drove routes that cross the wood but there is also a maze of unmarked paths that criss cross the entire area. I have walked and cycled these woods for 25years and often see deer, buzzards and red kites. I hope you enjoy these woods as much as I have over the years. I usually park at N51 26.153 W1 15.396 but there are several other places. Where ever you decide it should be a circular walk taking no more than 2 hours.
