Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Lake Runnymede Conservation Area. This 43 acre conservation area, located on the north shore of Lake Runnymede, was purchased in 2007. The community along the lake was originally called Wharton and was founded in 1885. This site was originally used for grazing cattle and horses. The conservation area includes one mile of nature trails, a Native America shell midden, and a former cattle operation holding pen.

The posted coordinates will take you to the main parking lot. You must find 4 other caches hidden in the conservation area in order to find the actual location of this cache. The true coordinates of this cache are 28AB° and 81CD°.

This site is currently open from dawn to dusk, so night caching is not allowed. There is an outhouse near the parking area and several benches and picnic tables scattered throughout the site. Primitive camping is allowed with the proper reservations and there is a fire pit in the camping area.
