Geocache Description:

CONGRATS TO Clarinet2 FOR FTF !

The size of the cache is nano.
Easy to get to by public transport from the city centre. The cache is nearer the park, than the church but you don't have to go into the park to get the cache. I have uploaded a spoiler photo to help if you get stuck.

You will need to bring your own pen as this is a nano cache and there is only room for the log in it.

From the cache location, you can see what used to be St. Andrew's East church, an impressive piece of architecture that has now been turned into flats. The old church hall now serves as the church itself.

Alexandra Park opened in 1870 and was named after Princess Alexandra of Denmark. One of the notable features of Alexandra Park is the 40 foot cast-iron Walter MacFarlane Saracen Fountain which was gifted to the City after the 1901 International Exhibition and it remained in Kelvingrove Park for 12 years after the exhibition. In 1914 Glasgow Corporation took the decision to re-site the fountain to its present location. In 2000, the fountain was restored to its former glory at a cost of £22,000.
