Geocache Description:


This is a replacement for GC2970M since it got muggled. It is hidden in a different spot and is more easily aproached from the south.

As for the history of the location I know very little. I know a lot of the original buildings on this block are from 1900-1930. Brick buildings were popular in this time period. Also, you can check out the trailhead for my old cache to see the old stairway. I am assuming there used to be a house here at one time. If anyone knows more please tell me, I would love to know.

The lid screws off by twisting. Please make sure it is tight when you leave.

PLEASE: recover as best you can this has already been muggled once. Sorry about the thorns!
