Geocache Description:

A vanishing species... this one is a classic DECON.

You are looking for what was once a fairly common cache container. A little military grade plastic box with a snap lid (snaps four times, please) that was made to contain a series of towelettes to be used in the event of exposure to air bourne chemical weapons. By use of the various wipes in the container, a soldier could DECONtaminate his or her self. Hence the name, DECON container. These still do turn up once in a while at good surplus stores, but are getting even more scarce than ammo cans as far as things you find in the woods. Please be careful when retrieving and replacing this one. Get it lined up right and it slides right in and out.
