Deutsch Die Rodelbahn am Gaisberg, heuer teilweise neu konzipiert und deshalb unbedingt mit Cache zu versehen, bietet sowohl für Hobbyrodler als auch Profis viel Spass und auch eine gewisse Herausforderung. Die Strecke ist 3.5km lang, der Gaisberglift führt die Rodler direkt an den Start und zwei sehr nette Hütten(-wirte) laden zum Pausemachen ein. Rodeln können an der Talstation des Gaisbergliftes ausgeliehen werden. Ein ganz besonders tolles Erlebnis ist das Nachtrodeln, denn die Bahn ist auf der gesamten Strecke beleuchtet. Beim Gasthof Obergaisberg gibt es außerdem noch einen 22m hohen Eiskletterturm. Natürlich ist der Cache auch zu Fuss in ca. einer halben Stunde erreichbar und es muss nicht die Rodelbahn betreten werden. Also viel Spass!!! English The sledding trail on the Gaisberg (slightly altered this year) is a great place for a Geocache. The route is 3.5 km long and a lot of fun for both beginners and “profis”. The Gaisberg lift brings you directly to the start of the trail and two huts along the way are nice places to take a refreshment break. You can rent sleds (Rodel) at the bottom lift station. A really cool experience is night sledding which is possible because the trail is lit until ~midnight. At the Obergaisberg Hut you can also find a 22m high ice climbing tower. The cache of course is also reachable by walking up the road to the Obergaisberg Hut (~30 minute walk). Please do not walk on the sledding trail it’s not necessary to find the cache. Have Fun!
