The cache is in a small area of sand dunes on a remote road behind an airfield. We use the area for Dirt/Quad Biking and exercising our dogs. Sometimes we share the area with a group of camels that are being grazed/exercised and if you stay a while you are guaranteed to see a few military aircraft flying overhead (better on weekdays), hence the title.
WARNING You need to take the turning off the Abu Dhabi to Al Ain Truck Road between 2 large embankments. If you miss this you will have to travel several km before you can turn around at the next roundabout and then even further to get turn around again at the next junction. This is because most of the U-turns on the Truck Road have been closed.
You will then come to the entrance of a military establishment, but don't worry, just turn left at the mini roundabout prior to this and follow the dirt track to the asphalt road. Both roads are in a rather poor condition but are useable by a normal car with caution.
