This Cache is dedicated to my oldest daughter who was with me when
I was first introduced to Geocaching. She got this Geocache as a
Christmas present and she picked this location to hide it.
Take a tour around the hydro site and the adjacent park. It is a
wonderful site.

Mississippi River Power Corp. is the generation side of the former
Almonte Hydro. The Corporation of the Town of Mississippi Mills
owns 100% of the shares in MRPC.
Mississippi River Power Corp. owns and operates a 4.6 Megawatt
Generating Station in Almonte, Ontario. This station was built in
2008-09 and came online on April 9, 2010 and it replaced the former
station that was built in 1926.
All of the power generated by MRPC's run-of-river hydroelectric
generating station is clean or green power.
