Geocache Description:

This is a great Trail! It has expansive views of the Sierra and the valley. Bring your family.

There are two primary entrances to the trail. If you want to hike down the trail you can park at N 39° 23.614, W 119° 50.299. The hike will be an easy 1.5 miles one way. If you want you can also enter the trail from the East at N 39° 24.278, W 119° 48.113. This is a relatively gentile up-hill hike of about a mile.

The BEST plan is to take two vehicles. Leave one at the park and then take everyone to the end of Timberline and walk the whole trail. There are numerous caches along the way.
