This is another of Team_Ninja's caches in the Daylesford area.
Team_Ninja's 40th geocache is located at Deep Spring mineral spring, a lovely spring and creek area a short drive off the Midland Highway just out of Daylesford.
Park in the area provided and take the short stroll down the hill to the spring. The cache is a 1L clip top container.
Every wondered where Deep spring mineral water comes from? Well now you know! Although the mineral water straight out of the spring tastes very different as it isn't flavoured! The actual Deep Spring mineral water is pumped up the hill to tanks near the highway where it is settled so that most of the minerals drop out.
You might like to bring an empty deep spring mineral water bottle with you, fill it up at the spring, and fool your family or friends!!!
The area has seen some changes since the cache was placed. The original ground level spring and access bridge have both been closed with a new pump being provided on the carpark side of the creek.
As always be on the lookout for snakes. Stealth may be required if muggles are in the area. Also, please ensure the cache is properly hidden before you leave. Remember to trade fairly, and most importantly, have fun!
