This geocache is located along the Sidney Long Memorial Drive, adjacent to the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, with nearby free parking in a layby located on the A1075 Watton to Thetford road.
The track is well defined. Can be a bit muddy in the wet. Not easy for those with pushchairs, unless they are the 3 wheel landrover variety!
Along the walk to the geocache you will follow the memorial drove that runs from East Wretham to Brandon. You will go past the stone memorial of Sidney Long, the founder of the nature reserve.
If you wish on your return you can enter the nature reserve following the defined pathways, and take shelter in the hide adjacent to the lakes. This is a good place to spot some local birds, and take shelter on a colder day. It is surpisingly warm if the sun has been shining. This is a pleasant walk, four all four seasons .
The cache is contained in a transparent sealed food container (approx 6" x 3" x 2" deep). Please ensure the container is properly sealed before placing back down.
