This cache is hidden approximately 1,000 feet from CP 2 (GCA744). Park at the trailhead area of Roxborough State Park ($7 daily fee), and follow a series of trails to the general locality of the electric power line towers at the top of the rise. From that point, moderate bushwhacking is required to reach the cache container. It’s a “small” container, and it’s flat. The cache is large enough to hold geocoins, but most travel bugs will not fit a container having this configuration. Bring a pencil or pen to log your find, and make certain that you seal the container properly before re-hiding.
Plan on a hike duration of several hours. With good weather, you will have marvelous views of neighboring mountains, canyons, and the developed lowlands. Enjoy your hike out to this cache location!
