One of a series of caches placed with families in mind.
We have small children and are always looking for a family friendly series in a park with a playground to amuse the little ones.
This is a straight forward, walk in the park. Experienced cachers could probably complete the series in 30-45 minutes, and those with geo-kids may take a bit longer.
All caches are within the boundaries of the park, and total distance is just over a mile.
The common offers 2 children’s play parks, a basketball court, lots of green space for geo-kids and geo-dogs to safely run for miles, a couple of tennis courts (free of charge) and a pretty area of more formal gardens. There is also a pedestrian entrance to the Grosvenor shopping centre.
It can be quite muggly, so be prepared to be stealthy. It is often especially busy on a Saturday, when several youth teams play football.
If coming by car, there is free parking for an hour on Church Road, but just off Church Road, there is a free car park, with upwards of 20 spaces. The co-ordinates for this are N 52 24.907 W001 57.992.
You are looking for a micro that contains a log book only, so don't forget a pen!
