This geocache is located in Ostrander's Stockport Cemetery. It is also one of 6 geocaches needed to find the Cowlitz Cemetery Challenge GC2M8KG. It is also known as the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
In the late 1800's/early 1900's around this area of the county were some of the more thriving communities of Stockport, Ostrander, and Pleasant Hill. While these communities have given way to rural neighborhoods between cities, this cemetery is one of the remaining marks left from that era. While it didnt offically become a cemetery until the early 1900's, its oldest burrial dates back to 1882.
