A short drive south of Buxton just off the A6.
The site has a small shop for basic provisions, Electric hookup at
each pitch by use of electric card from reception/shop at £1 - £5.
A heated toilet block with free showers is currently being built
ready for the start of the main camping season.
I have been informed that the site is now fully
booked
Close by is the Old Buxton to Bakewell Railway Line which now
forms the Monsal Trail. From the site it is around 12 Miles to
Bakewell along this trail which takes in Chee Dale and Monsal
Dale.
