Risør videregående skole
Opplæringstilbud Risør videregående skole er en kombinasjonsskole med både studiespesialiserende og yrkesforberedende.
Skolens historie
1879 Risør kommunale middelskole ble opprettet.
1891 Ebenezer Industriskole, forløperen til Risør husflidsskole, ble opprettet.
1935 Risør private gymnasium ble opprettet av Thorvald Knudsen.
1947 Det første yrkeskurs i Risør ble igangsatt. Teknisk aftenskole har midlertid tradisjoner tilbake til 1898. Risør kommunale høgre almenskole, forløperen til Risør gymnas, ble opprettet.
1959 Det første AMO-kurs igangsatt i Risør.
1960 Risør yrkesskole ble opprettet.
1973 Risør fagskole i husstell starter undervisningen.
1976 Furumo elevhjem tatt i bruk.
1984 AMO-senteret flytter inn i nybygg.
1989 All videregående opplæring i Risørdistriktet samles i Risør videregående skole med 6 studieretninger.
1996 AMO-senterene i Aust-Agder fylke ble nedlagt. De ble overført til de videregående skolene. AMO-senteret i Risør, Arbeidsskolen og tidligere ressurssenter ved RVS skal utgjør nå Risør Ressurs.

1879 Risør local middle school was created.
1891 Ebenezer Industrial School, the forerunner to Risør arts school, was created.
1935 Risør private gymnasium was created by Thorvald Knudsen.
1947 The first professional course in Risør was initiated. Technical evening school has temporarily traditions dating back to 1898. Risør municipal right public school, the forerunner to Risør high school, was established.
1959 The first labor market courses started in Risør.
1960 Risør vocational school was created.
1973 Risør school starts in the home economics classes.
1976 Furumo student home adopted.
1984 AMO Center moves into new buildings.
1989 All secondary schools in the district gather in Risør Risør high school with six courses.
1996 AMO-centers in Aust-Agder county were closed. They were transferred to the secondary schools. AMO Center in Risør, Labour and former school resource at RVS will now represent Risør Resource.
