Geocache Description:

Placed on Bowman Mountain about 5.4 mi from the trailhead.

Bowman Mountain is Located in between The Twin Sisters Mountain and Mosquito lake road.
the cache is placed on the 6.3 mi road to the 3,356 ft high summit, which has awesome views!
The beginning of the hike is on Mosquito lake Rd, 4.2 mi from Acne. Just go to the Bowman Beginning cache, which is placed at the parking area.

This cache is located at a slightly depressing part of the hike, to me. Though the GPS says the summit is only .2 mi away, you still have to hike .9 mi, and gain over 450 ft!
The side of the road is very steep, and has many small overhanging clefts in the rock in it. The cache is placed under one of these. Access is a short but steep scramble up the bank, and may be a but difficult when very icy or snowy. When I placed it there the road was snow-covered and there were large Icicles hanging from the rock, which was quite picturesque! The cache is generally accessible in winter, though, after a heavy snowfall, snowshoes might be needed.

Getting to the cache requires navigating a maze of logging roads, so printing off a satellite map of the route will prove very helpful!
The cache is a medium lock-and-lock. Please rehide well!

Good Luck, and Happy Hunting!
