Here's a cache placed in a nice area that few people know about.
I've been wanting to place one here for quite a while and today
seemed like a good day to do it...so here it is. Enjoy
If you live in El Paso, you've most likely driven right by these
hills hundreds of times over the years. Have you ever wondered what
they look like up close? Well...here's your chance to see just
that. These hills are a nice place to do a little hiking and this
area is where I did a some mountain bike and motorcycle trials
riding years ago. Riding mountain bikes here is still allowed but
motorcycles definitely are not. You might see some wildlife as I
spotted a small Fox while hiking out to place the cache. The
terrain out here is very loose and rocky. There's not a lot of
cactus out here but wear appropriate footwear just the same. There
are various ways to access the cache area off of Sun Bowl drive. I
parked at the soccer field but the gate there is occasionally
locked.
