Geocache Description:

Glenfield Millennium Green was formed for the change of the millennium, and made use of some land left over from when the Leicester Western Bypass was created several years before.

It is on the site of an old cricket ground that I used to play on, most of the land of which was used to create the new roads, this remaining slice of land is a nice site to place my first caches.
The Green has been tastefully converted into a play area and a fenced off area from all the surrounding roads, so is nice and safe for the kids.
The cache is easily reached and is at ground level. It is a small round "Lock n Lock" style container, and when placed, contained the Log and several small items for cachers to take. The cache is big enough for Geocoins and small Travel Bugs etc.
