WHIRINAKI VALLEY RESERVE




The Whirinaki Valley lays between SH 5 and SH 30 on Whirinaki Valley Road, 4.5km south-west of Ngakuru.

Popular for boating and waterskiing this little park offers BBQ facility, picnic tables, toilets and even a boat ramp. The place can be at times just buzzing with muggles and boats. I am giving half a clue away: if the BBQ facility is in use, you will have to wait until it is vacated.



The setting of the lake is in a nice rolling hill country. The lake level can rise and fall dramatically due to electricity generation. The cache is a key hide type of box. Please use stealth when you retrieve or put the cache back.
