Geocache Description:

A small tube hidden near one of the two towers that were part of the protection for the City of Valdivia

Un tubo pequeno esta escondido cerca de una de las dos torres que fueron parte de la proteccion de la ciudad de Valdivia


Torreón de los Canelos

One of two towers originally built in the 17th Century as part of the defense of the City of Valdivia. A wall originally ran between the two towers but this has all gone now leaving just the towers. This particular tower was renovated in 1774 and now stands as a monument “to Valdivia’s Glorious Past”.

Una de las torres que fueron construidas en el siglo XVII como parte de la defensa de la ciudad de Valdivia. Una pared solía unir las dos torres pero ahora forma parte del pasado dejando sólo las dos torres. Esta torre en particular fue renovada en 1774 y ahora es un monumento al “Glorioso pasado de Valdivia”.
