Geocache Description:

Small cache hidden in an urban woodland.

Hidden at the same time as nearby Australia Day, so it seemed apropos to name it after another Australian holiday. Anzac Day is comparable to Veteran's Day in the US.

The Anzac Day Act declares the 25th of April as a national day of commemoration in recognition and commemoration of the contribution of all those who have served Australia (including those who died) in time of war and in war-like conflicts. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps and was first used when Australian and New Zealand soldiers were quartered in Egypt, prior to their landing at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915.

NOTE: Contrary to what Google might suggest, this cache is not reachable from the commercial center on Highway 49, so I would recommend finding another approach.
