Small cache hidden in an urban woodland.
Named after the date this cache was placed, January 26th. Australia Day is similar to July 4th in the US.
Australia’s national day is held in recognition of the arrival in 1788 of the First Fleet, a group of 11 ships that sailed from England to establish a colony in Australia. Australia Day celebrations include Australian of the Year Awards, Citizenship ceremonies, concerts, carnivals and fireworks in most major cities.
Contrary to what Google might suggest, this cache is not reachable from the commercial center on Highway 49, so I would recommend finding another approach.
