Geocache Description:

Good parking on paved pull off or turn onto Route 267 and pull into the dirt horseshoe pull out. If walking from pavement walk around the fence. Cache is more accessible off 267. Watch kids and pets. Nails, ruins and barb wire in the area. Small cache.

Where Highway 95 meets Route 267. In Nye County Nevada named for Walter E. Scott of "Death Valley Scotty". If you've never been to Scotty's Castle in Death Valley, you need to check it out !

Was a old railroad stop back in the day. Also know for the 5.7 Earthquake that hit the area back in August of 1999. Even today there is quakes. More recently a number of 3 and 4 pointers due west of here near the CA border. This may be a great spot to stop for a rest. You may feel the ground shake while here. (check out my cache GCZ03G
