Geocache Description:

This two-stage multi is located entirely in St Helens Park at Prospect.

St Helens Park is a classical park with a rotunda and rose gardens. It has lots of protective shade trees and large, grassy areas which makes the park great for kids and dogs.

Geo-dogs are allowed to exercise here (off-leash) between 5:00am–8:00am and 5:00pm–9:00pm except when organised activities approved by the Council are being held. Lots of locals meet here with their dogs each evening at 5:00pm.

The park is also the venue for numerous community events, including the Prospect Fair in March each year.

The given co-ordinates are near the start of the Prospect Arts Path, which weaves through the park. A series of hand-made pavers depicting various scenes, objects and messages have been placed along the path. There are more than 60 groups of pavers. Each group consists of 25 pavers.

Counting the groups of pavers, proceed east along the path from the Prospect Road end to find the following clues.

1. At the fourth group of pavers, how many X’s are in the noughts and crosses game? (A=Number of X’s)
2. At the fifteenth group of pavers, count the number of hearts. (B=Number of hearts-15)
3. At the nineteenth group of pavers, one of the pavers has a series of numbers and mathematical symbols on it. Count the number of zeros. (C=Number of zeros)
4. At the twenty-seventh group of pavers, one of the pavers mentions the year of an animal. (X=Last digit in the year)
5. At the forty-fourth group of pavers, one of the pavers mentions “HENK 7?. (Y=? (i.e. the second digit in the number))
6. At the forty-ninth group of pavers, work out how many years “The Prospector” was alive. (Z=Number of years/2)

The cache is a 200mL Sistema container, located close by at:

The cache contains a logbook, pencil and a few small swaps. Please replace it carefully so it is well-hidden and out of sight in its little hidey-hole.

I hope that you have as much fun finding this cache as I did placing it.
