Geocache Description:

Long story short, this is a cache at the "bottom" of a swimming pool.

When this pile was made the end of an era was marked. For decades the communinty swimming pool was at Peter Pan Park. When time came for costly repairs the decision was made to level the cement pond of yesteryear and build a new pool clear across town and out of reach for many kids that would use the facility.

Depending on the season you can walk as little as a few hundred yards or in the off season I walked nearly a mile to hide the cache. Ammo can hidden geocache style in the "deep end" of the pool. In the growing season there will be some bushwacking involved.

For FTF a NOAA weather radio and flashlight combo, brand new but had to be unpacked to fit in the cache. Other contents are what not that I had around, Civil War battlefield map, map of Kansas from the 80's, a couple of Vietnam flag patches, etc...
