At Christa McAuliffe Park – The third in a series and a tribute to our hometown park.

Christa McAuliffe Park was dedicated shortly after the ThomasFamilyTeam moved to Cameron Park. Christa was the first teacher to fly in space and perished in the 1986 spaceflight of the Challenger. Christa McAuliffe was posthumously awarded the Congressional Space Medal of Honor.

This park is an important part of our local community and all the little ThomasFamilyTeam members played here when young. Some still do on the soccer field during soccer season. We were founding members of “Children At Play” who organized and raised $$$ to build most of the playground here at the park. This park is also our favorite Ultimate Frisbee gathering place. In fact, this cache replaces “Ultimate Park Cache” which was muggled to death.

Neener, Neener, Neener – Third Time is the Charm is one of the Neener series of Geocaches. Neener, Neener Neener originally belonged to “The Splinter Group”. They hid it on November 9, 2006. It was archived and then replaced as Neener, Neener, Neener (Redux) on January 30, 2007. After they archived it late in 2010, we had to create another one to keep the series intact.

If you have been to the other Neener caches you know to blow a neener, razzberry, or whatever you wish to all those passing by along Highway 50.
