Geocache Description:

This cache is the second in the Towpath series and takes you along another section of the lovely canal towpath near Sellars Bridge, Hardwicke.

The cache is a small cache and has room for just a log - please bring along your own pen.

The cache is located slightly off the towpath and the track in wet weather would make it difficult for wheelchairs and pushchairs, hence the terrain rating of 2.

Parking available around Sellars Bridge.

Access to all the caches in the Towpath series can be slippy following wet weather and there are a few brambles about but all are accessible with care. Please be mindful of small children along the canal path. Suitable walk for pushchairs also. The Towpath series is numbered as we have hidden the caches rather than the order in which they should be found. The caches can be found on opposite sides of the canal towpath as we are hoping to share different towpath walks we enjoy. However just as a guide only we would suggest starting with Towpath 5, walk along to Towpath 3 (you then do need to backtrack but in such a beautiful setting hopefully that will be enjoyable), cross the canal at the bridge and move along to Towpath 2, then back to the bridge again and proceed on to Towpath 6, onto Towpath 1 and then along further to Towpath 4. It is a do-able cycle but fair walk to Towpath 7 from No 4 and you can then move on to Towpath 8, Towpath 9 then to 10. Alternatively you can park on the roadside at Fretherne Bridge and easily cycle or walk to No's 7,8,9 and 10.

The series is designed to be completed all together or as single caches and we aim to add to the series as and when we come up with new ideas :-) Our aim is to make each cache in the series completely different from the last.
