A true and unfortunate event. This happened to me. I was hiking in Yellowstone and was in an area known for grizzlies. The trees in the area all had claw marks on them.
Unfortunately, I really had to use the bathroom. None around!!!
I walked up a hill like this one and while in a vulnerable position taking care of business.......I heard a stick snap behind me!!!!
I don't scare easily but those claw marks reaching 9 feet up that tree had me leary.
I ran out of the woods with my shorts around my ankles, while my brother is on the ground laughing.
Whatever it was.......It didn't come after me.
Watch out for bears!!!
