Come enjoy the reopened Dunsmore Canyon in Duekmejian Wilderness Park. I strongly recommend coming here at sunset--the walk down is spectacular. Great mountain views, as well as of the LA basin and the Valley.
Parking is free at Deukmejian park. Then head up the trail. The easiest way to get this one is to simply head straight up the marked Dunsmore Canyon Trail (the marked sign is just past the 1st large solo oak tree. The trail is in great shape. These caches are very mountain bike and/or hike-friendly. Bring the family and come on up. Don't forget to find the 2 more caches hidden just up the same trail from here. The cache is a cammo'd plastic jar. Re-hide the cache well. As usual in a wilderness area, watch out for rattlesnakes, ticks, coyotes, etc.
