Casa Bastone è un'antica casa colonica da cui si può godere di un panorama che spazia su tutta la piana pratese. nei dintorni della casa si possono ammirare un monumentale tronco di quercia ed un'antica cisterna in pietra.
Ha un' area attrezzata con tavoli e panchine, un riposo prima o dopo l' arrampicata sulla Retaia.
La casa è di proprietà della Cassa di Risparmio di Prato ed è gestita dalla sezione pratese del CAI
Parcheggiate alle coordinate N 43°54.332 E011°07.328 e prendete appena in alto a destra il sentiero che indica Casa Bastone.
Fate attenzione in estate a dove mettete le mani, potreste incontrare una vipera, usate sempre un bastone prima di prendere la cache.
Casa Bastone is an old farmhouse where you can enjoy a panorama that sweeps across the plain of Prato. around the house you can see a monumental oak trunk and an old stone well.
It has a picnic area with tables and benches, a rest before or after climbing on Retaia mount
The house is owned by the Cassa di Risparmio di Prato, and is managed by the local section of the CAI
Park at coordinates N 43°54.332 E011°07.328 and take just the top right shows the path Casa Bastone
Be careful in the summer where you put your hands, you may encounter the viper, always use a stick before taking the cache.
