Geocache Description:

The coordinates shown above is NOT the final cache location. You will have to solve the puzzle to get to the cache location. Enjoy.

This is the first, and easiest, cache of this series that will lay the groundwork for the rest of the series. Let me just say the difficulty of the puzzle and the difficulty of the hide has an exponential growth. Just expect it. The rest of the series will go up as soon as the next puzzle is made up so be patient!

Rules:

Assume that any text can give hints.
I will NOT however, give what I call negative hints. An example would be me saying "the cache is not in a tree," where the cache really was in a tree.

Each cache builds upon itself from the previous, so you MUST go in order else you will be lost quickly. Lets say I hid two caches. The first cache had a puzzle that used a ROT13 cipher. The second cache would also include this ROT13 cipher and then a new puzzle, say, doubling every letter and writing it backwards. Then lets say I hid a third cache, it's puzzle would then be something new added to the ROT13 cipher and doubling every letter written backwards. For the third cache and onwards any previous puzzle could or could not be used, and can be used in any order hence, making the series diabolical. So like I said earlier, there will be a steep learning curve.

This series is meant to challenge you! It WILL be hard! Google is your friend. Logs WILL be deleted if they contain spoilers, so please, just don't do it. DON'T be afraid to email me if you have questions, and I'm sure people who have already found the caches would be willing to help as well.

some, not all, of the puzzles require an even number of characters, in this case I will exclusively use the letter X so do not freak out if a random x appears in your puzzle, just ignore it and move on (some puzzles will keep going so don't forget to delete it!)

For those who love FTFs, this will be very very very painful series for you! Hope you have fun!

8/6/11 after the first cache was muggled, I put out a smaller container. it's a soda preform.
