This is the third road double in the Grand Annual Steeple
This is the third road double in my series of jumps.It is placed at the hurdle and has easy access being on the road side. This particular jump is now quite famous because of the riderless horse jumping into the crowd watching from the road side during the 2011 race.
Banna Strand weighing in the vicinity of 500kg and travelling about 30km/h flew over the fence into the unsuspecting crowd. (7 people were taken to hospital)
The same horse won the race in 2013
