Geocache Description:

A chance for you and your dog to take a stroll along the river or perhaps and easy ride on your mountain bike.

The Greenough River walk trail is a 17 klm hike along the Greenough River, unfortunately not many seem tempted to try the whole journey so we thought we would place another cache along it.

At this point of the trail there is a gazebo where you can stop and take in the view across the river to the ever moving sand dunes or look down the river to the ocean, you might even see the rowers training on a Sunday morning.

If you haven't already tried Down By The River then perhaps we can suggest you head for this cache (Up by the River) first and then take the 6klm return walk and enjoy the views and a short section of the trail.

This is a small cache - it has started its' life with a log book, pencil, stashnote and a few interesting keyrings. There is room for a geocoin or a small TB.
