Geocache Description:


This is another in the series of caches for the George Bass walking track. It will either be your first or last in the series if you want to complete them all.
I have made this a drive by as I feel this is a fantastic area and still worth a look and a cache to find. Those who don't want to walk the walking track or cant walk the track you can still get a feel for the beauty of this area. Not far down track (less than 100 mts) from this cache is a lookout it is worth the effort to walk to it and check out the view. There are plenty of signs around to tell you about the area (good points and some bad). The bad points are on how dangerous it is to go rock fishing here. There have been people washed off the rocks and drowned in the Punchbowl area.
If you stay to the designated tracks you will not have a problem.
