Cable Spool geocache is a regular size, desert hidden cache.
This cache is up the hill from the old mining town of Noonday. You will need to select the correct road to get you near the cache location. There are several roads that go in the general direction of the mines.
The roads are definitely high clearance and 4x4 type roads. This cache is reachable by quads and other desert type vehicles. You will not be able to drive a car or 4x4 standard vehicle to this cache. The last quarter mile is badly washed out with steep grades and sharp turns.
Once you are at ground zero, the cache should be an easy find for the casual geocacher. The name really says it all. Please rehide it as well or better than you found it. This area sees quite a few non-geocaching visitors.
This is an old mining area, so be careful where you are walking and enjoy the sights and sounds.
