Trolleybuss Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

cervisvenator: Hi

While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

Trolleybuss

Trolley buses were originally built as a replacement for the tram. The first line, line 5, was opened in 1950 and went between the muzzle and Møhlenpris, while the distance from the center to Landås, line 2, was opened in 1957. Line 5 was closed in 1995 in connection with the roadworks on Møhlenpris, and air lines were removed some years later. Line 2 runs today between Strandkaiterminalen in the center and Birkelund top where it was extended in 1985 and is owned and operated by Tide.
