Ulysses S. Grant was the eighteenth U.S. president. He was born on April 27, 1822 in Ohio. He died on July 23, 1885. He was president from March 4, 1869 until March 4, 1877, and was affiliated with the Republican party. Grant was the top general for the Union forces during the civil war. As president his biggest concern was the reconstruction after the civil war. During his administration the fifteenth ammendment was passed providing that no one could be denied the right to vote based on race. Grants tenure was marred by five major scandals.
This one should be a pretty easy find. The difficulty rating is only as high as it is (1.5) because my GPS only showed 20 ft. accuracy when I marked the location. But, it should be a pretty obvious spot. If my GPS had been closer I would have rated this a 1. The location is along a fairly busy road. DO NOT PARK NEXT TO THE CACHE. Park on the side street just across from the cache location.
