Do You Remember (Paramount) Traditional Cache

In the Mid 90’s Paramount was purchased by Dean’s Foods. After several months Dean’s closed down the plant and fired 250 employees. In the late 90’s what was left of the old plant at Fern Valley Road was leveled. The land has been turned into the Paramount Business Park.

Several former employees of Paramount Food Co went on to open the Louisville Pickle Co. in Charlestown Indiana in May of 1997.

One of the feature I remember was the smell of pickles as you would pull off the Fern Valley exit on I65, Do you Remember?
