The North Louisiana Geocachers are holding our 5th
annual event and we wish to invite all cachers to come out and
enjoy a day of fun and fellowship with us. For the 3rd year in a
row we have chosen Lake D'Arbonne State Park as our location for
the event due to the wonderful support of the park management, the
high number of caches located inside the park (which includes a
terrific Wherigo cache), along with many caches located near and
around the park. This scenic park located in the wooded hills of
Union Parish offers campsites, cabins, fishing and boating, several
hiking and biking trails, tennis courts, playgrounds, and other
ammenities.
The coordinates listed above are for Pavilion
2. The festivities will officially begin at 10:00 AM.
There will be an Easter egg hunt for the kids, along with other
games for all. We will also have door prizes to be given
away.
We will be serving hot dogs, nachos, and drinks.
We will provide all the hot dogs, buns, chili, all condiments, ice,
and drinks, along with all the paper and plastic ware. If your
caching name begins with a number or the letters A - M,
please bring a dessert. If your caching name begins with N -
Z please bring a side dish (this can be chips if you
like).
Please post if you plan to attend and how many
people will be with you so we can be sure to provide enough for
everyone. We look forward to seeing everyone
there!
