Neahkahnie Witch Tree
With apologies to modern day Witches, I felt this was an appropriate name for this cache.
The tree is on the way to the summit of Neahkahnie Mountain and is quite a sight to behold. It is most easily accessible from the Highway 101 trailhead of the Oregon Coast Trail, which you can find from the link below.
The trailhead is just across the highway. This is also the start of a terrific loop hike which includes this cache. Check out Neahkahnie Trailhead West for details.
The cache is a small Tupperware container. Due to spotty reception, the tree may be a better guide than your GPS receiver.
