Located along a trail that I found a little over six months ago. Park off Lafarge Road at the very end of the Fountain Tire parking lot (closest to river).Trail entrance is on your right (marked with a no vehicle access sign). Short walk down, with all flat terrain.
I called this cache The Swan Empire because everytime I walk down here with my geo-dogs, I notice there are tons of swans. I love swans and wanted to share the opportunity to view them with others. Further down the beach there is a large eagles nest (Eagles and hawks...and even herons...frequent the area) I've also seen plenty of coyote signs and have seen a few bears-including a momma and cubs in the summer). There is also lots of signs of beavers (at least it's easier to see in the summer)
Anyways, I've rambled on...
So the cache container is a large pill bottle camoed. Enjoy the hunt and the wildlife viewing. :)
