The General Post Office
THE Post Office in Bangkok.
There is a philatelic counter inside, but the Philatelic Museum is located on Phahonyothin, near GC2DY0H.
Note the Garuda on the NE-corner of the southern GPO building.
Trees planted inside the compound are Mimusops Elengi (Spanish Cherry) and Frangipani. This plant is named after famous French botanist Charles Plumier (1646-1704). The flower is a subject matter of many poems and signifies love and high aspirations.
