The cache is in a small park in Noge. This is the new generation cache of GC26WHB.
Noge shopping street has long history in Yokohama. Before the port area (Minato Mirai) is created and built, one of the most active area around Sakuragichou Station.
This street is also famous of jazz music, and backup of activity of street performers. At the end of April they hold "Noge Street Performance (Daidougei) Festival." Many street performer comes from all over the world.
Also in this park here's a display of Japanese oldest water pipe in the park. Yokohama is famous of the clean water among the Kanto region (the source is Doushi village), and the birthplace of modern water distribution in Japan. The first modern water way, built 120 years ago, brought water from Doushi village to the Noge water distribution facility, and still the pipe is working!!

キャッシュは野毛通りの近くの小さな公園にあります。
野毛通りは横浜でも古くからの商店街です。みなとみらい地区ができる前は、桜木町近辺でも最も活気がある商店街でした。
野毛は日本でのジャズ発祥地のひとつとしても有名で、また大道芸を支援していることでも有名です。四月の終わり頃には、『野毛大道芸フェスティバル』が開かれ、世界中から大道芸人が集います。
この公園には、日本最古の水道管の展示もあります。横浜は首都圏ではきれいなおいしい水で有名ですが(水源は道志村です)、日本の近代水道発祥の地でもあります。最初の近代水道は、道志村からこの近所の野毛配水場まで引かれたそうですが、その水道管はいまでも現役で働いているそうです。
