Quart's Hill Traditional Cache

This is the site of an old quarts quarry, there are still some old remains of it still to be seen. Follow the directions below & let some one know of where you are going.
You will get good views from heer as well, check out the photos.
This is one of two Geocache’s on this track , more for the above average bush walker or mountain bike rider as it is on a popular mountain bike track .Not your Kmart mountain bike either , very technical track . You can start at Eagle Crt at the end of Stephen’s Rd. Head East approximal 1.5 -2 kilometres to way point S 23°43.128 E 133°54.627 You will come to the top of a ridge they call Sunset Hill where you get good 360° views .From there you keep heading east, you will see a track heading down the other side in a SE direction to way point S 23°43.168 E133°54.738 two hundred meters from the top, the track you need to take keeps heading SE where the main track heads around back to a northerly direction. From here you stay on this track for 1.4 Ks to way point S 23°43.398 E 133°55.095 From here you will see Quarts hill to the north east , the cache is approximately 250 meters up a two wheel track. If you are going on to Kym’s Gorge keep going straight ahead for another 3 Kms to way point S 23°43.652 E 133°55.944 The cache is approximately 150 meters north .
If you wanted to walk trough to Emily Gap it’s a 10 k trip.
There is no phone service in the valleys either & take plenty of water.
